This Privacy Policy explains how Chris for Alaska, the campaign committee for Chris Chiavetta for Mat-Su Borough Assembly District 1 ("the Campaign," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects information you provide through chrisformatsu.com, chrisforalaska.com, and our text-messaging program.
Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address, and your interests in volunteering, campaign materials, or event updates. If you donate, our payment processor (Anedot) collects payment and contribution information, including employer and occupation information required by law. We may also collect basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited.
How We Use Your Information
- To send campaign updates, event invitations, volunteer opportunities, and get-out-the-vote reminders.
- To send text messages to people who have opted in to our SMS program.
- To process contributions and meet reporting requirements of the Alaska Public Offices Commission (APOC) and other applicable law.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
Mobile Information and SMS Consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We share mobile numbers only with the service providers that deliver our text messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Campaign (such as email, texting, website, and payment processing vendors), when required by law (including contribution reporting to APOC), or to protect the rights and safety of the Campaign or others. Subject to the SMS section above, we may share contact information with like-minded candidates or organizations; text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared.

- Email: Use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Other requests: Email info@chrisforalaska.com to update or remove your information.
Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
